A dynamic fast-growing organic manufacturer is looking for a top-notch Vice President of Sales to manage all sales and business development operations to help the company achieve revenue goals. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about the organic industry and about sales, particularly identifying and closing new business. Are you passionate about increasing profitability through sales to new customers in existing and in new markets?

The Role:
You will report directly to the President of the company and will be a valued member of the management team. You will be involved in all aspects of Sales including creating and executing strategic and tactical plan to increase the overall profitability of the company

Key Areas of Responsibility:
It is important for the Vice President of Sales to identify and close new business and to maximize sales to existing customers.
You will need to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and key customers as well as support strategic alliances and channel partners.
Manage and train a sales department to continuously improve and achieve sales objectives through new business, new market opportunities and product development.
Create and execute strategic and tactical plans with clear sales objectives
Manage the budget including revenues, costs and projections.

Requirements:
At least 7 years extensive sales experience in organic manufacturing industry or comparable industries, with 4 years in a senior management position. The ability to achieve results through successful long-term customer relationships, identifying and closing new business, and managing a sales department. Knowledge of the organic industry as well as the government regulations and business issues will be very helpful to achieving success.
